Brain-Injury Informed Consultancy

Recovery and guidance for TBI/ABI survivors and their families — including post-acute and subacute carbon monoxide poisoning.

Begin Journey

The part I usually leave out

For a long time this site told you the clean version: I survived, I rebuilt. It kept the real interior of it at arm's length. So here it is, closer.

What it's like to lose continuity of your own mind. To stop trusting your own recall. The grief of who I was before against who I became after. The isolation. What those first months actually cost me — not just operationally, but emotionally.

If you're the one this just happened to, or you love someone it happened to: I know this part. It's the part nobody puts on a website. That's exactly why I'm putting it on mine.

Brain-Injury Informed Support

Protecting What's Left — and Building What's Next

The first year after a brain injury is when survivors and their families are most exposed — to bad advice, to people who take advantage, to wasted money, wasted time, and decisions made in the dark. I know, because I lived it.

I design an individualized blueprint for each survivor and the people around them: what to protect, who to trust, where time and money are leaking, and how to rebuild capability step by step — without falling into the traps I fell into. I don't just know what recovery feels like. I see the patterns, systems, and risks that the people inside the situation usually can't.

The Philosophy

I'm Ahmad El Nadi, a systems designer and recovery systems consultant. I still live with severe short-term memory loss from acute carbon monoxide poisoning (60% COHb) in 2013, which means I forget things quickly—but I notice patterns very well. Over the years, I've been lied to, misled, and taken advantage of more times than I care to count, mostly because people assume memory loss equals low intelligence. It doesn't. It just forces you to build better systems. Still Unspoken exists because of that reality. I now help people with brain injuries structure their lives, protect themselves, and operate clearly in a world that isn't designed to be patient—or honest—with cognitive limits. I now work with survivors and their families internationally, helping them navigate their new neurological reality through robust, external systems.

A Service of Necessity

I operate on the belief that private infrastructure is more reliable than human memory. Following a life-altering brain injury at age 21, my biological recall was compromised. I didn't just adapt; I engineered a way to thrive using external systems as a cognitive prosthetic.

This philosophy isn't about "fixing" what was broken. It's about recognizing that the modern world is obsessed with data retention and permanent records. My unique neurological state—characterized by short-term memory loss paired with exceptionally high emotional intelligence—allows me to offer something no one else can: a truly ephemeral space for dialogue.

The Guinea Pig Protocol

"I essentially factory-reset my own brain and spent years debugging the hardware with custom-coded reality systems. I'm not saying you *should* trust a guy who forgets what he had for breakfast, but I am saying I've built a better operating system for survival than your biology ever could. Don't hire me to remember your birthday; hire me because I've already solved the problems you haven't even encountered yet."

Boundaries

This is not medical care. It is not a substitute for neurology, psychiatry, or clinical therapy. It is lived-experience consultancy for logistical survival and executive function.

Short-term memory loss can be compensated — with the right systems, the right environment, and enough willpower to keep rebuilding what your brain keeps deleting. You don't need to remember everything. You need to build something that remembers for you.

(And yes — I did forget I already wrote this paragraph. Twice. But the system caught it. That's the whole point.)

You — Your Journey

This is where your chapter begins. The systems exist. The consultancy exists. The proof exists.

"I don't design systems because it's a hobby. I design them because something was missing, broken, or could be done better. Necessity is the only brief I've ever needed." — Ahmad El Nadi

The Mind Before the Damage

Pre-Injury Baseline. Before December 27, 2013 — a systems-native mind with severe ADHD, chronic insomnia, and extraordinary emotional intelligence. Everything below was operational. Everything below was destroyed or constrained.

Systems Thinking Was Not Learned — It Was the Default Operating Mode.

Origin: Gifted, Unmatched (1992 - 1999)

Born with early emotional intelligence and pattern recognition. First national championship at age 6. High uric acid and emerging ADHD from childhood. Sleep was healthy and normal.

1992 — Born in Egypt

As an infant, displayed early emotional intelligence — bit his mother during breastfeeding when he saw her cry, triggering joint laughter. First documented social milestone of empathy.

1998 — First National Championship

Won first national Speedball championship at age 6 with 2 gold medals. An early athletic triumph despite emerging ADHD.

Abu Dhabi: Systems Mastery (2000 - 2003)

Lived in Abu Dhabi. Trained solo on a custom speedball setup built by his mother. Won summer championships in Egypt yearly. Early signs of systems-level cognitive mastery.

2000 — Underlying Medical Factors

High uric acid present since childhood. Inattentive ADHD began mildly, set to intensify gradually over the coming decades. Sleep still healthy at this stage.

2000-03 — Solo Training, Abu Dhabi

Trained solo on a custom speedball setup his mother built. Won summer championships in Egypt yearly. LLI traits (superior pattern recognition) developed.

2002 — Pharaoh Mastery — Age 10

Mastered the Pharaoh (Sierra) PC game until the system stated: 'People Idolize You As A God.' Designed a perfect closed-loop city system — resource allocation, population happiness, infrastructure sequencing. A complete systems simulation at age 10.

2003 — Learned Manual Driving — Age 11

Learned to drive a manual Nissan Sunny at age 11.

Adolescence & Pattern Awareness (2004 - 2008)

Computer certification at 13. Cognitive profile formally assessed in the Superior range. Discovered Low Latent Inhibition. Entered AUC Mechanical Engineering. First World Championship.

2005 — Computer Hardware + OS Certification

Earned certification from YAT at age 13. ADHD and gaming clashed with academics, yet scored 124% overall in IGCSEs. Repeated Physics O-Level from C to A*.

2007 — First Cognitive Assessment: Superior

Formally assessed at age 15 in the Superior range. Already displaying extraordinary pattern recognition and cross-domain cognitive ability.

Medically Notable: Superior cognitive profile at 15, with an upward trajectory documented over the following 5 years.

2008 — Discovered LLI + First World Title

Discovered Low Latent Inhibition (LLI) at 16 — explaining lifelong patterns: dismantling CPUs at 7, crafting stories at 3, intuitive systems mastery. Entered AUC Mechanical Engineering. GPA rose from C/D to 3.8. Won first Speedball World Championship in France.

World Titles & The Fire Within (2009 - 2012)

4 world titles. National team head coach. Thousands of contacts. Founded Evolancia. Cognitive profile reassessed in the Very Superior range. Peak cognitive and social bandwidth.

2009 — Founded Evolancia

Visited Cairo slums via AYB NGO — envisioned using sports for sustainable community impact. Founded Evolancia.

2010-12 — 3 More World Titles

Won 3 additional world titles (4 total including 2008). Served as national team head coach. Built thousands of personal contacts.

2011 — Assault in France

Subjected to severe personal violation by a trusted individual in France at age 19. Set clear boundaries.

2012 — Cognitive Reassessment: Very Superior

Formal reassessment moved his cognitive profile from Superior to Very Superior over five years. Founded a startup. Tried Strattera and pranic healing for ADHD (both failed).

Medically Notable: An upward shift of this magnitude over five years is statistically unusual and clinically significant.

2013 — Peak Bandwidth (2013)

Highest cognitive bandwidth year. Intense relationship. ADHD at maximum. Sports performance and social networking remained elite. The last year everything was still operational.

Mar 2013 — Intense Relationship

Met Lebanese girl. Entered intense long-distance relationship. Love flooded his brain, short-circuiting executive function. ADHD and insomnia hit their first peak.

Fall 2013 — Academic Collapse

Worst academic period despite high IQ. Sports performance and social networking remained elite. Highest bandwidth year before everything stopped.

THE EVENT — 27 December 2013

December 27. Carbon monoxide. COHb at 60%. Duration of exposure: around 2 hours. Two-night coma. Everything before this became unreachable. Everything after this was different.

27 Dec 2013 — THE EVENT: CO Poisoning

Exposed to carbon monoxide from gas heater. Duration of exposure: around 2 hours. Carboxyhemoglobin levels of 60%. Result: 2-night coma, anterograde + retrograde amnesia, severe executive dysfunction, emotional detachment, involuntary movements, exacerbated insomnia. Treatment (100% oxygen) delayed by hospital staff. Age 21.

Medically Notable: Surviving 60% COHb has a very high mortality rate. The delayed oxygen treatment further compounds the severity.

Undiagnosed Damage (2014 - 2015)

No systemic medical support. Exploitation by neurologist and an individual who violated trust. Misdiagnosed. Yet — national championship 8 weeks post-coma. World championship 1.5 years later.

2014 — Exploitation Begins

Neurologist Adel Hassanein began 6-year manipulation cycle: gaslighting, emotional degradation, memory exploitation, fake offers. Ongoing abuse by a trusted individual continued (2014-2019). No systemic support for 11.5 years.

Early 2014 — National Championship — 8 Weeks Post-Coma

Won national Speedball championship just 8 weeks after emerging from a 2-night coma with severe anterograde amnesia. Muscle memory and athletic instinct operated independently of shattered declarative memory.

Medically Notable: Winning a national championship 8 weeks after a severe hypoxic coma has no known precedent in sports medicine.

2015 — Misdiagnosis + Smoking

Diagnosed with GAD and Bipolar II (both misdiagnoses). Started smoking December 25, 2015 amid emotional distress — became addicted despite 20+ quit attempts. Insomnia intensified. ADHD became major.

2015 — 'Let Go, Give Up, Don't Fight'

Wrote and crossed out words: 'Let Go, Give Up, Don't Fight.' Result after crossing: 'Go Up Fight.' A moment of semantic restructuring during deep depression and amnesia.

Mid-2015 — World Championship — Post-Injury

Competed and won at World Championship level approximately 1.5 years after severe brain injury. Physical proof that the system still works, despite a memory span of a few seconds.

Medically Notable: Competing at world elite level with severe anterograde amnesia — no documented parallel in medical or sports literature.

Rebuilding Under Constraint (2016 - 2019)

Graduated university. Launched BAMZ. Confronted the individual who violated trust. All with a memory span of seconds and no systemic medical support.

2016-17 — AUC IMC Degree — 3 Semesters

Switched to Integrated Marketing Communication at AUC. Graduated in 3 semesters with ease — proving cognitive capacity remained intact despite shattered memory infrastructure.

Medically Notable: Completing an accelerated university degree with seconds-long short-term memory is extraordinary.

2018 — Collapse Under Burnout

Traveled to Lebanon to stop ex-girlfriend's wedding — failed. Tried 3 jobs, all collapsed due to burnout and sleep instability.

2019 — BAMZ Launch

Earned Sales Management certificate (AUC). Launched BAMZ (premium bamboo-cotton fashion brand). Cleared customs, sold 360 pieces (batch 1). Managed production, logistics, brand architecture entirely solo under neurological constraint.

Medically Notable: Solo end-to-end business operation — supply chain, customs, quality control, sales — with seconds-long memory. Each step requires sequential recall that should be impossible.

2019 — Confronted Abuser

Confronted the individual responsible for years of severe personal violation (2014-2019).

Treatment Cycles (2020 - 2023)

10 certifications. QEEG confirmed damage. Three different treatment modalities attempted. All showed the same pattern: initial improvement followed by regression.

2020-21 — 10 Professional Certifications

Earned 5 ISSA Fitness certifications and 5 Life Coaching certifications. QEEG scan in Dubai officially confirmed post-CO neurological damage for the first time.

Medically Notable: Passing 10 certification exams requiring sustained study and recall — all directly impaired by anterograde amnesia.

2022 — Neurofeedback — Evolve Dubai

20 neurofeedback sessions at Evolve Brain Training in Dubai. Showed improvements, then severe regression after returning to Egypt.

Medically Notable: Part of universal treatment pattern: gain followed by collapse — consistent across all modalities.

2022 — Learned Tennis in 2 Months

Acquired complex motor skill in just 2 months despite severe amnesia. Demonstrates intact procedural memory pathways operating independently from devastated declarative memory.

Medically Notable: Rapid motor skill acquisition with severe amnesia — indicates procedural memory pathways fully intact.

2022 — BAMZ Batch 2 + Gym

Opened gym/coaching space in Cairo (0 clients). Sold 300 pieces in BAMZ batch 2.

2022-23 — Neurofeedback — ABC Cairo

60 sessions at ABC Cairo (Nov 2022 - Jun 2023). Strong early results, especially sleep. Then severe relapse followed by protocol resistance. Same pattern.

2023 — TCM — Dubai

20 Traditional Chinese Medicine sessions in Dubai. Exact same pattern: early improvements then collapse. Three fundamentally different treatment modalities, one identical outcome.

2023 — Rebrand + NEO Launch

Rebranded coaching as Nadi Coach. Launched NEO (neuroeducation for youth, pending code).

Neurological Burnout (2024)

Designed NEO games and HACS. Then — November. Full neurological burnout. Cold surges. Color distortion. Cognitive blackouts exceeding 3 minutes.

2024 — HACS Designed

Designed HACS (Harmonic Automotive Communication System) — full concept, business plan, circuit design, expansion strategy. Experienced burnout shocks during circuit revision.

Medically Notable: Designing a full system — concept, business plan, circuit architecture, expansion strategy — with seconds-long memory. Circuit design requires sustained technical precision.

2024 — NeuroConfidential Conceived + 40+ Scripts

Conceived NeuroConfidential — therapeutic emotional recalibration service for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Authored 40+ professional coaching scripts. The injury becomes the product: a forgetful confidante.

Medically Notable: Designing a complex service framework and authoring 40+ detailed scripts with seconds-long memory. Long-form writing requires constant re-orientation to material the author forgets within seconds.

Nov 2024 — Full Neurological Burnout

Cold neurological surges. Color distortion. Cognitive blackout exceeding 3 minutes. Then — full recovery with restored energy and willpower. The brain crashed, rebooted, and came back online.

Medically Notable: Neurological shutdown with color distortion and 3+ minute blackouts, followed by complete spontaneous recovery. This crash-reboot cycle is medically unusual.

Systems Online (2025)

Sleep Correction Masterplan. Dubai outreach. Still Unspoken. Everything built by a man with no sleep, no memory, no safety, no financial support, and a damaged brain.

Apr 2025 — Sleep Correction Masterplan

Launched comprehensive plan for Delayed Sleep-Wake Phase Disorder (DSWPD). Sunlight protocol, biofeedback, nootropics. Sleep remains the number one problem.

Medically Notable: Self-designed clinical-grade sleep intervention without specialist guidance. Created a systematic protocol for his most debilitating symptom while having the cognitive profile that should prevent such planning.

2025 — Dubai — Service Proposal

Travelled to Dubai to propose the service to ultra-high-net-worth circles. Hit the same lifelong blocker: inability to reach the actual decision makers. The work was ready. The room was not accessible.

Medically Notable: A fully-formed service offering with no path to the decision makers it was designed for. The constraint is not the work — it is institutional access.

Jun-Aug 2025 — Cairo Proof Phase — 11 Videos Solo

Filmed 11 video series. Finalized Sacred Shield Protocol. PEAK drills 6x/week. Restructured outreach strategy with website, HNWI targeting via LinkedIn.

Medically Notable: Solo video production (script, film, edit) is a multi-phase process requiring continuity of vision across days. Managing this workflow with seconds-long memory span required external compensation systems.

2025 — Still Unspoken + Consulting for Others

Launched brain-injury-informed consultancy service while still receiving no systemic medical support. Holding space for others' emotional needs while managing catastrophic personal neurological deficits demonstrates emotional regulation that contradicts the expected profile of severe TBI.

Medically Notable: Professional consulting requires sustained emotional attunement, active listening, and recall of client context. Doing this with severe amnesia while undiagnosed and unsupported is medically paradoxical.

Global Launch (2026)

Still Unspoken consultancy launch for CO poisoning victims worldwide. Future plans to relocate to Asia and establish all systems-engineered projects there on global infrastructure.

2026 — Still Unspoken — CO Poisoning Victims Consultancy

Expanded Still Unspoken to serve carbon monoxide poisoning survivors specifically. Brain-injury-informed consultancy built on lived experience of 60% COHb survival, amnesia, and systems-driven recovery.

Medically Notable: A consultancy for CO poisoning survivors, designed by a CO poisoning survivor with seconds-long memory. The product is the proof.

2026 — Asia Relocation Plan

Future plans to relocate and launch the projects in Asia — no fixed country yet, exploring mature, systems-oriented societies such as Russia, Japan, or China — with infrastructure capable of absorbing and scaling the projects designed under neurological constraint.

2026 — Full Project Portfolio Establishment

Plans to establish all systems-engineered projects: NEO (adaptive education), HACS (automotive communication), Evolancia (circular economy), VF360 (immersive platform), BAMZ (sustainable fashion), and additional systems designed across 12+ years of constrained innovation.

Medically Notable: A portfolio of 6+ systems-level projects spanning education, automotive, economics, fashion, and technology — all conceived and designed with seconds-long memory. This breadth of systems thinking under neurological constraint has no documented precedent.

Medically Notable Observations

23 points identified as clinically significant, research-worthy, or without known precedent in medical literature.

"Every system above was built by a man with no sleep, no memory, no safety, no financial support, and a damaged brain. Now imagine what becomes possible if he is healed, resourced, and seen."

Why the Systems Aren't Scaling

Current Bottlenecks. The capacity exists. The systems exist. What doesn't exist is the environment, the infrastructure, and the recognition required to deploy them.

The bottleneck is not capacity. The bottleneck is environment.

There's no pressure here. No intake forms, no clinical jargon, no judgment. I've been on the other side of this — confused, frustrated, wondering if anyone would ever speak my language. This is a conversation, not an evaluation. Come as you are.

I know what works and what doesn't — not from textbooks, but from living it every single day for over a decade. The systems I'll share with you are the same ones keeping me functional right now, as you read this.

Visual & Interaction Design

This section describes how the live website looks and behaves. The real site is a rich, animated single-page React application. Because most automated tools and AI fetchers do not run JavaScript or render pixels, the design — including motion that no static screenshot can capture — is described here in words.

Overall Concept

The aesthetic is "Bold Modern Editorial": a calm, refined, magazine-quality look in the spirit of NYT Magazine, Aesop, and Aman. The base is warm cream paper with deep ink typography and a single restrained forest-emerald accent — quiet, confident luxury with generous whitespace rather than loud effects. The design is deliberately calm: it is built for an audience of brain-injury survivors who may have photosensitivity, vestibular sensitivity, or attention difficulties, so heavy motion has been intentionally stripped away and a calm, near-static experience is the default.

Color Palette

Typography

Serif display headings (Playfair Display and Source Serif 4) paired with clean sans-serif body text (Inter, Outfit). Systems-themed sections lean on a more technical pairing (Space Grotesk, with JetBrains Mono for monospaced details); coaching-themed sections use softer serif headings. Generous line height and wide editorial margins give a calm, printed-page rhythm.

Layout

Centered single-column editorial measure with abundant whitespace. Content sits on quiet "paper" cards with subtly accent-tinted borders and soft, low-contrast shadows. Sections are separated by a single restrained ornamental divider style. A dual visual system runs throughout: systems sections carry the teal-graphite identity, coaching sections carry the burnt-sienna identity, and the hero is its own neutral zone. On mobile, the primary call-to-action ("Start") sits above the fold so the booking path is visible without scrolling.

Motion & Interactivity

Motion is intentionally minimal and calm by design. There is no splash screen, no custom cursor, no smooth-scroll hijacking, no parallax, no background canvas effects, and no auto-playing animation. The only motion is a gentle, brief opacity fade-in as sections enter view, plus standard hover and focus states on links, buttons, and cards. Navigation is a simple static top bar with one primary call-to-action; the footer is static.

The Journey page (/the-journey) additionally offers one optional, strictly opt-in "immersive 3D view" called "Threshold", reached only by deliberately clicking an "Enter immersive 3D view" button. It is never shown by default. When entered, it presents the life timeline as a scroll-driven descent through depth — cards rising out of z-space, a luminous through-line, and a dark-to-light pivot at the 2013 carbon-monoxide event. It can be exited at any time back to the calm default, and it fully honors the operating-system "reduce motion" setting by rendering as plain static cards. The underlying content is identical to the calm timeline.

Accessibility

The experience is built calm-first specifically for visitors with photosensitivity, vestibular sensitivity, or attention difficulties. The few remaining fade-ins fully honor the operating-system "reduce motion" setting — when reduced motion is requested they are replaced with instant, static equivalents, and all content is fully present for screen readers.
